Introduction to Taling Ngam Beach

Sited on the eastern part of Koh Samui, facing the 4th and the 5th island of Angthong Marine National Park, Taling Ngam Beach is the less developed bay and one of the most picturesque parts of the island. Most of the travelers often come to take the impressive photos of the sunset or hire the boat for diving, fishing and sightseeing to view Samui from the other angle. At the northern tip is Racha Ferry Pier where the boats from Donsak Pier on Surat Thani mainland will anchor. Driving 20 minutes to the north is Nathon Beach for shopping, while nightlife spots at Chaweng and Lamai Beach, half an hour to the south. The luxurious residential properties and top class resorts spring up around the area, yet a couple of cheap accommodation can be found. Turning into the inland is Paradise Park Farm, the combination of well-preserved lush forest, petting zoo and viewpoint. [153]
