Introduction to Krabi

Krabi is situated along Southern Thailand’s Andaman coast and can lay claim the having the kingdom’s longest history of continued settlement, with evidence showing that Krabi has been home to homo sapiens since the period 25,000 - 35,000 B.C. Ao Nang is the major launching point for boat trips to nearby islands and the isolated beaches of Phra Nang Cape, where the famous and absolutely stunning Railay Beach is located.
