Introduction to Klong Muang

Klong Muang is found at the western part of Krabi, around 15 km from Ao Nang Beach, 25 km from the city center and can be reached by the white Songthaew or self driving along Route No.4034. The surrounding landscape is filled with palm and rubber tree plantations, enveloped by Limestone Mountain to keep it secluded from the vibrancy. The golden sandy beach is suitable for strolling and seating to view the stunning sunset. There are a number of sea facing, 4 and 5 star resorts to be found here, namely Sofitel and Sheraton, along with some budget accommodation. Most of the top class hotels have their own bar and restaurant for convenience of the visitors. Only a few dining options and entertainment spot are available around, so if you prefer the colorful nightlife, driving to Ao Nang is recommended.
