Introduction to Koh Jum

Located between Koh Lanta and Krabi town, Koh Jum is sited around 25 km south of Krabi city center. 25 km to the south is Koh Lanta, and 20 km to the west is Koh Phi Phi. Getting to this small island is convenient by an hour ferry trip from Klong Jilad Pier on the mainland. There is no jetty on the island, so when the ferry stop offshore, you will be transferred to the resort by the longtail boat. Actually, this small island is divided into 2 parts; the north is called Koh Pu, while the south is known as Koh Jum. The landscape of the southern part is a flatland with natural vegetation and rubber plantation. Most of the un-crowded expanses of the beaches are on the west coast. There is a non-asphalt road that the experienced riders can use to explore the local life in the fisherman village. To escape from the modern city life, the visitors are welcome at a few numbers of cheap basic huts to superior bungalows.
