Introduction to Nopparat Thara Beach

Being a part of Hat Nopparat Thara - Mu Koh Phi Phi National Park, Nopparat Thara Beach lies at the north of the famous Ao Nang, about 18 km from Krabi town or 45 minutes by Songthaew ride. Formerly known as Klong Haeng Beach, this 3 km long sandy beach is dotted by the line of casuarina trees to give the shades for people who come for picnic on weekends. During ebb tide, it is possible to stroll from the shore to Kao Pak Klong Island just in front of the bay. At the northern tip of the beach is Klong Haeng River and Pier where the travelers can hire the long tail boat to explore the nearby islands including Hong, Poda, Chicken and Bamboo Island. Some souvenir shops and restaurants are found close to the pier, while the accommodations are spread along the coastline, surrounded by lush greenery.
