Introduction to Khanom

Khanom is a tranquil seaside area of Nakhon Si Thammarat province and is located in the southeastern coastline of Thailand. Traveling to this location is possible by flight from Bangkok to Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport, and continue by a taxi to the north of the town for an hour to reach this peaceful Khanom. A number of boutique style resorts can be found here and most of them are inexpensive ones. The accommodation are mainly booked by Thai people who plan for a short vacation near the beach. An important ferry pier for Koh Samui is also available in this district and this made this area a busy stopover place for passengers who are going to the island. Apart from that, some major attractive spots for visitors consist of amazing zigzag stone or Pancake Rocks and the footprint of Luang Pu Tuad. While traveling by boat near to the shore of this area, visitors may see some pink dolphins that are symbol of this area.
