Introduction to Central Pattaya

At the KM 145-146 Marker of Sukhumvit Road which is the starting point of Central Pattaya area and one of the main routes that leads people to Pattaya City. The golden mermaid and dolphins statue is the marker of the end of North Pattaya and the start of Central Pattaya Beach. Plenty of exciting activities such as paragliding, jet skiing and banana boat riding can be discovered along this brown sandy beach. Available along the beach road are Immigration Bureau, Tourist Police Station and for those looking for accommodation, there are many choices varying from high rise hotels and apartments to low rise budget guesthouses. Nightlife sites here are numerous and they are very lively, and consist of many beer bars, go-go bars, clothing shops and souvenir stalls. Shopaholics will enjoy their favourite activity at many department stores such as Mike Shopping Mall at the beachfront, and Mike Department Store at the intersection. Central Festival Pattaya Beach which is a very large retail corporation in Thailand, is situated on the beach road. In the vicinity of these places is Royal Garden Plaza where there are international branded shops and restaurants.
