Introduction to Naklua Beach

Naklua Beach is located in Tambol Naklua, Amphur Banglamung of Chonburi Province. It is the northernmost part of Pattaya City, which starts from the end of Pattaya Bay. Taking Soi 18 of Naklua Road allows visitors to get to the nearby Wong Amat and Wong Prachan Beach. Private residences, condominiums and hotels mainly dominate this kilometer long crescent bay. Naklua is an ideal alternative spot for family travelers with peaceful surroundings that retains its original atmosphere of the local life. The fishing pier and old shop houses can be found, yet tourist facilities are also available. There are less numbers of the accommodation than in the other areas of Pattaya, but some budget to high end resorts are scattered around. From the beach, you can overlook the iconic landmark called the Sanctuary of Truth. Located at Ratchawet Cave and is reachable by taking Soi Naklua 12, this massive wooden construction is decorated with delicate, Buddhist and Hindu influenced sculptures. Visitors can go sightseeing around this world’s largest wooden castle by sitting on elephant horseback or horse carriage.
