Introduction to Koh Yao Noi

Koh Yao Noi is a pristine island which is found in Phang Nga Bay to the south of Phang Nga Province and between Krabi and Phuket. This is one of the largest islands in the archipelago of 44 islets that is inhabited by a Muslim Village. It is accessible by 30 minutes speedboat ride and an hour-long tail boat trip from Bang Rong Pier at Phuket. Koh Yao Yai, its less developed sister island and is just 15 minutes long tail boat ride away. Koh Yao Noi retains the wealth of nature that the visitors can explore by riding a bike along small concrete road. Boat trips to the neighboring islands such as Lading, Bileh and Hong Island is a great day out option for snorkeling and fishing. There is a local market at the center of the village and it is where you can find some restaurants and food stalls.
