Introduction to Tab Sakae

A district of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province called Tab Sakae is located about 322 km from Bangkok and is reachable by approximately 5-6 hours by bus. To the east of the area is the Gulf of Thailand and to the west is Myanmar border. Tab Sakae Beach is one of the very peaceful beaches of this province and it becomes a great getaway destination. What travellers can expect from this beach is its unblemished situation and especially less crowded. To find somewhere to stay, simple style bungalows can be found close to the beach and most of them have their own restaurants to ensure their guests convenience. For a simple relaxation, there are many activities to enjoy such as taking 20 minutes speedboat trip to Koh Talu, which is a very attractive shallow diving spot, and try squidding right at the fishing port. The recommended place to chill out is the 7 km long, Casuarina pine tree fringed beach at Had Wanakorn National Park. Another lush foliage area is Huay Yang Waterfall National Park where camping is permitted.
