Introduction to Koh Lipe

Poised in the southern Andaman Sea, the peaceful Koh Lipe is a part of Taratao National Park in the administrative district of Satun Province. The easiest way to reach this faraway island is riding a public van from Hat Yai Bus Terminal about an hour to Pakbara PIer, then continue for a while by a speed boat ride to the southernmost tiny island of Thailand. Plenty of comfortable and cozy resorts are available on the island and the popular beaches are Sunrise, Sunset and Pattaya. The seawater of this area is so clear and clean, and the area is one of the best diving points in Thailand as you can easily find the colourful sea anemone, soft coral, and plenty of colourful fish. You can also enjoy diving and snorkeling at the main diving sites such as Koh Hin Son, Koh Buru, Koh Roklok, Koh Hin Ngam and Ja Bang Canal.
