Magazines in Phuket
Phuket has a number of English language magazines consisting of tourist information, entertainment guides, lifestyle guides and usually some interesting articles. For the articles the Greater Phuket Magazine stands out as an excellent read. Pakarang is also worth checking out. With articles in both English and Thai, it provides interesting insights into aspects of Phuket which may not be immediately evident to tourists and expats. There are also a few magazines focusing on more specialised topics such as real estate on the island.
Most of these magazines are published only as free copies and are readily available in hotel lobbies, bars and restaurants and some travel agents. A few are also on sale at bookstores and department stores.
