Sauna and steam treatments are very popular in Phuket and are a great way to relax. There are many saunas on the island, which vary greatly in price and additional services offered such as massage. Traditional Thai massage is very common though other types of massage such as oil and swedish massage can also be found.
Saunas in large hotels are more costly than independent saunas though these generally provide more than basic sauna and steam room facilities. Most spas also feature saunas and these will also offer beauty salons with hairdressing, nail painting and face treatments.
