Phuket Cultural Centre at Rajabhat
Located within the grounds of the Phuket Rajabhat University, the Phuket Cultural Centre is a small museum which showcases the traditional art and culture of Phuket as well as the history of the island. Items on display include artifacts, decorative ornaments, farming implements, tin-mining tools, and weapons. There is also a display on the Battle of Thalang, where the two lady heroines of Phuket helped to fight off the Burmese invaders.
Getting there:
The Phuket Cultural Centre at Rajabhat is located in Rajabhat Phuket University just off Thepkasatri Rood heading north out of Phuket Town.
